My work explores the relationship between the tyranny of ageing and multimedia experiences. With influences as diverse as Derrida and John Lennon, new tensions are crafted from both explicit and implicit textures. Ever since I was a teenager I have been fascinated by the theoretical limits of meaning. What starts out as triumph soon becomes corrupted into a tragedy of power, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the possibility of a new understanding. As shifting forms become transformed through emergent and critical practice, the viewer is left with a statement of the inaccuracies of our world.
