summer skies

A slightly better day today with intermittent sun and rain. Apparently the plague of locusts is due next week.

After a pleasant teatime with both daughters, I returned home past the viaduct and stopped for a wander. Waded through some waist-high nettles and wild rhubarb to get to the other side of it, but still couldn't get far enough to see its full width over the valley. Maybe I'll try next week after the locusts have stripped the foliage.
