Settlers
Langol
Once upon a time these are swamplands, residue of an old lake adjoining the hills, and believed to be the abode of the dead before their onward journey to the other world . No one dare live here save for fishing, hunting and gathering firewoods. Perfect dumping ground for dead human bodies(murdered), carcasses, fierce domestic animals (once released here automatcally turned wild).
Slowly but gradually civilisation starts to creep in with the advent of some early settlers and in due course of time the land became fertile, fit for farmland in some areas. Nowadays, govt. quarters, schools, churches, a hospital, some govt. offices and a lot of houses/cottages marked the slow progress of civilisation in this once dreaded place.
