History Books
I have been flicking through a couple of historical photo books of Birmingham, which were retrieved from my grandfather's home during the big move. In them, I found this old shot of the Aston Webb building, where I currently "work". I'm not sure if this is the same wing, but whichever it is it's certainly not open-plan any more. This photo dates from during the first world war, when the building was comandeered as a hospital.
I thought this might interest some of my colleagues. I love photos like this, showing what places used to be like.
