Pug Mill

This bronze lovliness is the inside of the pug mill in the pottery. Donald inofrms me that it is so shiny because the clay is constantly buffing and polishing the mechanism. It was taken apart today for a good clean. It felt like a secret had been revealed - I had no idea the hulking mill contained such delicate parts.

Very busy day today, Stevenson college presentation - the culmination of a lot of the members hard work at college. Frantically trying to sort out new college applications and then a visit to the art collection. Some amazing stuff.
