Look into my eyes...

Macro shots again tonight, will be back to my usual long exposure landscapery tomorrow (weather permitting of course). Nice to do something different once in a while but I need to get into the woods with the macro lens to get some new subjects, the back garden is distinctly lacking in insect life expect that of the ultra small variety. This fly was approx 3mm in length, it's damn hard to manual focus on the eyes of something that small!

It's time like these I wish I had a Canon as only Canon do that 5x macro 1:5 macro lens, 1:1 is great huge improvement over most macro lenes that do 2:1 but 1:5! You can get insane closeups with that. No Nikon equivalent that I know of either. Bugger!
