Calle Serrano, Madrid
A long, long fight to get this posted because of failure after failure of the hotel internet connection but here we go....
Taken this morning after a frustrated visit to the Egytptian Embassy, however, our tempers settled during a coffee break on this famous Madrid street and I think you can get a feel for the place.
The gentleman in the foreground had finished reading his newspaper and had then started his very fine and detailed illustrations on his artist pad. In front of him his book, 'La Comedia Humana' by Balzac, lies closed...not sure if the drawings are illustrations inspired by his reading. Elsewhere, you see some business men having their mid morning break, all in 30C. I do think Madrid is the best dressed European city I have been in, but I haven't been to them all, by any means.
Had a good day at the opening day of the International Coach Federation Conference, and met some nice fellow workers in this particular (business) field, in case you think I wear a tracksuit and blow a whistle all day!
