Iced Gems

These flowers start off looking like Iced Gems before opening.
(Those tiny, round biscuits with a piped blob of colourful icing on them)


Patrick the gardener pointed them out to me yesterday.

They are in one of the borders at Cragwood

He did tell me what they were called but I forgot again!

I did some googling and came up with Kalmia latifolia.

I hope that's right.
