Focus...
I wish the bird was in focus. Yet, it seems like life leaves a lot of things unfocused. And the most beautiful things are caught in fleeting moments. I was heading out to lie on the hammock today when I came upon this wonderful blue gentleman taking a rest. I've seen him around the yard lately (he's pretty noticeable), and I have been dying for my chance to capture his image. When I saw him on the hammock, I stopped dead in my tracks and zoomed in as much as could. I guess my automatic setting focused on the tree and leaves instead. I was disappointed, seeing the picture for the first time on the computer. Now I have come around to realize that this picture of my blue friend is only the beginning. He and I have a long summer of seeing one another in the yard and trying to get a good view of one another.
As soon as the picture was snapped, he flew away. See you soon, my friend.
