Regaining some dignity

We went for a walk around downtown this afternoon to see some of the destruction. Vancouver has done a pretty good job of clearing up. Hundreds of locals and volunteered their time to help get the job done quicker.

The shops that had been looted still had their windows boarded up, and many people took the opportunity to get their message across.

An eerie feeling, but at least Vancouver had managed to regain a little bit of dignity.
