Rural Commute

Hi horse, ya know a good barber?

I really can't use the word "commute" since I live right outside the city limits. That being so, I believe one would have to say that this horse tied in a back yard with a big round rope long enough to reach the front yard and stand right next to the side walk was...in town. Living in a rural community that doesn't make a big deal about horsies nibbling next to the sidewalk is part of why I love it here. I think this horsey wanted me to come pet him or, at least, give him an apple or something. I've never seen him before, but I hope I see him again. Maybe next time I'll give him the apple from my lunch...
