Power Saving

We got a notice today that our power is going up by 6%. Well that will just about negate any saving we are making by having partial solar power installed recently. You can't win, but Jo decided to protest by turning off all the lights and use candle power. I did my bit by cooking on the woodfired stove outside. Our carbon footprint for the evening would have been a bit Yeti.

Yay, the weekend is here. My plan for Friday evening was to sit outside next to the fire, have a few ciders and read my book. Unfortunately it is windy out which put me off so I might just have to go off to bed and read. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day.
