Visitor Information Centre
Firstly, I would like to say a big, big thank you to everyone who looked at my blip yesterday. 84 blippers wished me a happy birthday. I am such a lucky little collie to have so many people that care about me. Thank you.
Secondly I would like to tell you about what I've done today.
I went to the Tourist Information Centre ................... except it isn't called that anymore because Cornwall Council closed it down to save money. How ridiculous is that? The main industry in St Ives is tourism and we don't even have a tourist information centre?!!
Now it's been reopened by the town council as a 'Visitor Information Centre' but only on a trial basis as it has to be self funding. That means that it needs volunteers to help staff it. So Ann thought she would offer her services.
I had to wait outside because Ann didn't know if doggies were allowed in. There's all sorts of useful information inside. Ann got a map for me which shows me all the beaches that I'm allowed to go on all the year round.
I think I should help promote the VIC. I'm soooo gorgeous I could be on the publicity material. While I was waiting, a group of Germans thought I was ever so nice. ................................ Well actually, I don't know if they thought that or not because I don't understand German. But they were looking at me and smiling so I gave them my 'appealing' look and I could tell they were saying nice things about me.
To be honest, I'm not sure if I want Ann to volunteer at the VIC because that means that I'll be 'home alone', but Ann has assured me that I am her top priority and any volunteering she does has to fit around my routine.
Yay - I'm Ann's 'top priority' & I have 84 blippers who care enough about me to wish me a happy birthday.
Have a great weekend everybody.
