day 6 (i think)

Well, sleep was had by all last night!!!!!!! a couple of hours anyway!!!!

Today the midwife came and did the heel prick test, Joel was brave and not a hint of a cry...... well not untill we had to get him undressed to be weighed... he's now gone down in weight to 5lb 13oz but im told this is fine and quite normal.. He's now having at least 2oz of milk every 4 hours and his appetite seems to be growing quickly...

Vicky is very tired one minute but finds it difficult to relax!!! thats what being a mom is all about though, right?
I made her smile anyway today as i had what she called 'the biggest bucay of flowers' she had ever seen delivered.

One more week off work and then im back.... wish i could stay around the house untill Joel is old enough to move out!!!!
