Emma has had a very proud day according to her teacher. She was presented with this achievement award by her headteacher at assembly today and has been more than willing to show it off since coming home.

Not long to go for this term and then she'll be in the First year and mixing with even bigger girls and boys! Well, they're all bigger than her at the moment, but one day...

L & I went down to London City Airport today (without camera unfortunately). Having been outside London now for some while, it always amazes me how frenetic everyone seems to be, as if their very existence depended on them getting in front, going faster, getting there first and yah boo to everyone else. I wonder if I was like that ten years ago?
