Naff weather today but we are where we are. It's Friday and I've just enjoyed a Chicken Tikka balti so the world is a generally benign place. Tomorrow, if all goes well, I'll meet my cousin's daughter and her partner for the first time. They are visiting the UK all the way from Americaland!

Time for a bit of marking now methinks - celebrate the weekend starting!
