Puffin

This was one of several on a cliff at Deerness. It was fairly far down, so the image is cropped.

It's a favourite bird with visitors but many don't see one. So many postcards, soft toys etc are sold with this wee bird on them, it's like they are all over the place.

I walked from Lighthouse Corner out to Mull Head Reserve. Far more people there than usual. Usually it is just me. They picked a nice day for their visit, thought there was a cold wind off of the sea.
