Tropicana suburbiana

Poor old Blipfoto has been taking a bit of a back seat this week. What with needing to clear the work decks by the end of the week so that going to Barcelona can be done with a clear conscience on Sunday and spending far too much time downloading and listening to music, there really hasn't been much time left over for pointing the camera at anything.

My friend Derek called in for coffee and chat in the afternoon, which was a pleasant break and gave us a chance to compare notes about high-resolution musical downloads. He'd earlier taken a break himself and spent a short while on Howth Head in the unexpectedly nice weather. The weatherly niceness continued right until sundown, so, knowing that I was blipless, I just dashed out into the back garden to take a shot of the next-door neighbour's well-established cordyline.
