Rainy Day Blues

Surely this is the day for putting on your new waterproofs and checking out if you can put up the tent ahead of the music festival? You could even have a sleepover in the garden in the rain to see just how waterproof it is?

It could also be considered the best day to go shopping for your new hiking boots so that you can walk them in (around the house) in time for scout camp?

Some would say it's a perfect day for lying low and just resting after over doing the sitting and walking a bit too much yesterday?

A day for reflection, a rainy day for getting into the corner of the wardrobes and cupboards and getting round to the jobs you keep promising to do? I even used a dry paint brush to clean the mouldings on the front door today.

Yet, it would seem that Rainy Days have sent my family into a raging fury. Some crosser than others. I've kept out of their way, having done my bit, and am leaving them too it. Miserable blighters.
