Landscape

Having recently been critical of another blipper's landscape I thought I'd better stick my head above the parapet.

This is a wheat field at Ashwell. The directions on the website stated "Common Quail - 1 persistently calling bird in wheat field W of Claybush Lane opposite the first lay-by on the left travelling S from Ashwell to Bygrave." When blip gets audio you should be able to hear the Quail calling, but you'll never see him - still counts as a life tick though, although not a proper one in my book.

The view's better in Large, but you'll still not see the Quail.
