Waiting for the sun
Our day wasn't as wet as elsewhere in the country, but it's still not the weather to be expected in June. Although, it is running up to Glastonbury, so maybe the rain is to be expected.
A day of pottering around - shopping, laundry, mowing the lawn - you know the sort of thing. The main success was finally clearing the garage so that there is enough space to fit the car in - it's only taken me a year! It's a shame I hadn't got around to it before my car aerial was stolen, but at least they won't be able to steal the replacement aerial - when I get around to getting one. Most of the time, the lack of aerial doesn't seem to affect the radio reception too much, except for the odd occasion when the radio goes all fuzzy which is always at the moment when I particularly want to listen to something.
There are so many jobs to do round the house and I get so despondent sometimes that nothing seems to get done, so it's good to have a day with something concrete to show for it.
