From the garden today....

Another busy day for both of us.....its now 4pm and we have knocked off. Doug has spent a lot of time on the roof again, today cleaning out the spouting, then flushing it out with water, he is buggered but a big job done, now it can rain & he can rest. Back to work tomorrow for some quiet time.

Me, well back to the decluttering, have done heaps and one job lead to another, I have achieved a lot today and also yesterday, & am feeling quite satisfied.

Back to the garden for my blip, this is a big tree at the corner of the house, much taller than the house. Doug chopped off some branches that were hanging over the roof, this is a very small part of the yellow fluffy flower that blooms at this time of the year....name eludes me, the leaf is almost fern like.

I have a weeks ironing to do, huh I hate that job and always leave it until a Sunday night - almost a ritual, now thats very sad eh?

This week the shortest day arrives, then often the weather deteriorates from here, we will have to wait and see.....still no snow and no major frosts to speak of.
