Pigeon on wet road

I liked the colours on this common or garden pigeon. I spotted him/her while walking back to the car after my daily hospital visit. He is feeling a lot better today so may get home tomorrow....until the next time! The sun is shining today (in between the showers) which always lifts the spirits a little.
