Stop!

Triied a different restaurant this evening, one in downtown Jacksonville that is actually open in the evening. I kid you not.

Casa Dora is an Italian restaurant about 50 yards from the Florida Theatre. The walls inside are decorated with photographs of the stars of stage and screen, including a picture of the owner with James Gandolfini.

After a delicious lasagne, my wife and I took a stroll down to the St Johns River and sat for a while. We were rewarded with the sighting of a dolphin. Sotty, there's no way I am going to get a shot of a dophin with the Ricoh GRD III and its 28mm lens.

Heading back to the car, I noticed that most of the traffic lights on Newnan Street were on red. In fact, a couple of seconds earlier, they were all on red but by the time I had framed the shot the sequence was starting to change.

I never was renowned for speed. :-)
