Backblipped 19th June

Well I do wish I'd done some of the intended sorting and packing yesterday!

A rather chaotic start to the day trying to sort everything out - stuff was piled everywhere! (can you guess where we're going?!)

We got there in the end though and managed to leave the house at 1pm.

The drive down to Cornwall was pretty good - managed it in 4 hours - however the rain was torrential - though as you can see someone was not bothered at all by it and snoozed and snored the whole way with the occasional wakeup for a wee sausage or carrot titbit!

Very wet down here too, though it does make for some pretty droplets in the garden.

Log fire is now burning, Bill is snoring, dinner is just about to be cooked and we're starting the holiday relaxing good and proper!

Fingers crossed we've some dry spells tomorrow!
