Banks of the River Ogwr

This was taken at one of my favourite haunts, the River Ogwr. It was strangely devoid of bird life until this little chap came along. Strange as there's usually dozens of gulls, cormorants, shelducks, mallards, canada geese, mute swans all competing for space on the banks, on the water and on the island in the middle of the estuary. The sun had come out which meant there were lots of people walking, fishing and generally enjoying the lack of rain.
