Guides ain't what it used to be

This morning we popped into Windsor with our son for a Father's Day breakfast. We had a lovely time and on the way back to the car we found a lovely little gift shop in Eton that I will have to re-visit when I have more time.

We picked up B from Guide Camp this afternoon, luckily she was all packed up when we arrived. One of the leaders asked if we would take their cardboard for recycling and this is what we were given!!! Apparently Guides live on take away pizza these days.

This isn't my favourite day of the year, my dad passed away from leukaemia when I was 22 and I still miss him. He would have loved having grandkids and him not being here is so unfair.

Today hasn't been too bad though. Enjoy what's left of your weekend.
