Ethan, Daddy and the monster!

Well I have to say, Ethan was no bother last night. Not a peep out of him all night and he slept till 6.20am before coming through to my bed for milk and cuddles. We'd had breakfast and playtime, I was dressed and about to dress Ethan when the doorbell rang ... it was hubbie! Home MUCH earlier than expected from the stag weekend. I didn't think we'd be seeing him till late afternoon!

The 3 of us drove over to Bathgate to visit the Foreveryoungs. After relaxing at their house for a bit, we went along to Dobbies as we knew they had family entertainment on today. Ethan had a duck made by the balloon guy, but after queuing for ages at the face painter, she told us she's not insured to paint the under 3's! Very frustrating but she did agree to put a wee stamp on his hand instead, which he kept looking at for ages afterwards.

We all had lunch there by which time Ethan was knackered and well overdue a nap. Mr Foreveryoung had headed off into Edinburgh by this point so we took Foreveryoung & Eden back home. Ethan fell asleep in the car on the way there and carried on sleeping for over an hour, on hubbies chest at their house.

We did a quick shop at Tescos after we left. Only popped in for some milk but came out with a lawnmower which was reduced to a bargain £5! As we were then driving past the Toby Carvery, hubbie decided to treat us to dinner out too. Last time we ate there, Ethan wasn't very well behaved. But he was a wee star this evening and ate loads. But by the time we'd finished the main course he had had enough of sitting in the highchair so we didn't dare stay for desert too!
