These are my favourite flowers, and this afternoon, I saw some in the garden whilst picking gooseberries for a crumble I made for my dad for father's day, I also made the dinner and bought him a bottle of wine.

Woke up at a respectable time this morning, even though my brother said to me "god VERITY IT'S QUARTER TO ONE!!", which I beleived and jumped out of bed, which turned out to actually be 10am, but at least I didn't completely waste my day. I spent the rest of the day with the family, and my older brother, his girlfriend and Ruben, my blip for yesterday. Spent a lot of time playing and bonding with my little nephew, and he actually gave me a big hug and kiss goodbye on his own accord, which is a big improvement on last week when he refused to hug me ;) But it was a lovely moment which I won't forget.
