Tellitubbies cousins...

I remember a couple of years back, Tellitubbies were accussed of being ill for children's development because they just spoke in syllables.

I'm now in the position of being a parent in charge of a childs entertainment habits and I'm typing this while I give Bethany what has become a her apres breakfast viewing of "In the Night Garden".

She got a book of this childrens programme for her birthday and it was intriguing because reading it was like a lyrical workout for your tongue.

Who's riding the pinky ponk. It's the Tombliboos. Isn't that a pip. Onk onk ping.

It's not too bad actually, there is a narrator who does bring it back down to earth, but it is a bit odd and has this awful "sticking in the head" theme tune.
