My City Day 246 Postcard 177: Contemplative Spaces

This is the Quaker Meeting House or the Religious Society of friends where I am an attender. I am a Quaker but I am a member of the Newmarket Meeting and have yet to transfer my membership. Here is a link to the old meeting house in Newmarket.

We meet each First Day (Sunday) for an hour of silence and meditation. If somebody feels the need to share with speech the belief is that there is another friend in the meeting who may need the ministry.

After this I went to visit my dads grave on this beautiful Fathers Day.
