Looking for the recipe

After a couple of days looking for an old recipe book, I finally found it - on my recipe book shelf! In it I found a miniature history of recipes I had collected over the years from the coconut ice my mother used to make to put into our party bags, to play dough for my children, ending in cream of mushroom soup i made about 18 years ago. I also found the recipe I was looking for - my granny's version of a drink she called harvesters drink made from oatmeal sugar boiling water and citrus fruit. I have hardly cooked a meal in the last 4 years so this is a big event in my life.
