Got it!

The 'Common' next to the house is at it's best just now. Full of birds, wild flowers, butterflies, moths, insects etc. The grass in places is head high and despite walking on it twice daily the path is fast disappearing. Finding the ring is becoming harder for the tripe hounds, Mr Darcy especially has no structure to his search and rescue technique he just bounces around in circles until he comes across it. Sometimes he finds one that was lost the previous day. It's a good pre breakfast workout for him.
