Midnight Hike

Its a little boring again, its turnaround time at UNIS, everyone is leaving new people are coming. With no internet any more either its been a slow week.

A few friends and I took a rather late stroll to Gruve 2 (Mine 2) again, this time the entrance was accessible as the ice blocking it had began to melt. It made for a most amusing façade of sliding face first into a mine tunnel.

Exploring inside was super exciting as it has been left, without change since its close in 1962. Minus the courtesy graffiti of who was where and when.

Needless to say after a few kilometers of walking around underground realising that it just goes on and on and on and on and on (Its a huge mine, if you get me) we departed to sip Minttu and coco at the Tobarn station.
