Friday: St John's Cathedral, Warsaw

Lots and lots to see in Warsaw - every street corner has something worthwhile.  This particular gem is in the Old Town - the building on the right is St John's Cathedral - I must confess I didn't catch the name of the one on the left when we were introduced.

Also went to see the Monument of the 1944 Uprising, a pretty bombastic affair.

Went to a great restaurant in the evening - all white tiles and Soviet era interior.  It's great visiting friends in these places - it takes away a lot of the pressure of finding decent places to eat.
