Diva Dame Shirley Bassey on hearing Nikki sing The Living Tree for the first time said ?I got goose pimples and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up.?
They went on to produce Bassey?s Get The Party Started album. The Dame found working with the girls ?inspirational? and thanked them for making recording fun again. Their collaboration reached Number 6 in the UK album charts.

NEVER THE BRIDE have performed live and recorded with some of the world?s top musicians: The Who, ZZ TOP, Alice Cooper, Robert Plant, Peter Frampton, Paul Rodgers and Gary Brooker, The Pretenders, Procol Harum, also they work with Roger Daltrey and The Teenage Cancer Trust.

They were so unassuming, lovely and totally mental ... They had Shaki walking around in their Monster boots (I think they have adopted Shaki) and made me wear a plastic Rain poncho on stage even though it was hot ... I did get a few strange looks from the 2 or 3 thousand festival goers ... but hey ... That's Rock N Roll Baby!! ;-) xx
