Puncture on the way home tonight. Luckily the weather was dry, so after locating and removing the culprit (a piece of swarf), I fixed it and carried on home.
If the other bike was the (fairly) trusty steed, then this one must be my (fairly) rusty steed. Bought new in August of 1980, from Macdonald Cycles in Edinburgh. It's seen a lot of use/abuse over the years, and has easily done over 50,000 miles... well, some of it has. Plenty of parts have been replaced over those years. Multiple times for some of them.
About 3/4 of the way through editing Saturday's photos. Hope to finish them tomorrow night. The ones of Ms P. Middleton are okay. She's undeniably a bonnie lass, and well done to her for taking part, and finishing the event. It can be somewhat grueling. As ever there's been a lot of nonsense published in the press. But that's nothing new!
