Sovremennik Theatre, Moscow

Spent today trying to help a friend get a visa to attend a conference in Canada. Nightmare is not the word! Had a lovely evening at the theatre, though am so tired I probably didn't appreciate it, but having the joy of seeing Sergei Garmash on stage, with a whole other selection of very talented actors made me determined to stay awake. Greatest joy - I had a coupe ticket, meaning I could get ready for bed and go to the loo while the train was still in Moscow, rather than an hour after it had left if I'd been on a train without chemical loos! So glad to get the travelling over!
