Menton, South of France

Another day anotehr long drive via the Pont du Gard aquaduct which was constructed by the Romans in the 1st century AD and was added to UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites in 1985.

Although I have visited the South of France several times I have never gone beyond Monaco so have missed seeing this very picturesque town, which was actually D's fav place on the whole trip. I wish I had discovered this place years ago as the streets were amazing I certainly would have been happy to explore for another couple of days. I guess they mostly have French and Italian tourists as most of us Brits would fly into Nice or Marseille if we were visiting the Southern regions - getting warmer now in high 20's.
