Picture Perfect Day

It was such a beautiful day here in Philly. Low humidity, sunny skies, a bit of a small breeze...my kind of day. Lots of sitting around doing nothing kind of day. I slept in, had my iced coffee. Then I did some sunning in the back yard with my faithful companion Molly. She was guarding her kingdom.

I did have plans on doing much more around the house. Didn't happened, didn't stress about it. Maybe i'll get to it, maybe I won't. Maybe tomorrow, or the next day, or maybe even the following day. After all I am on summer break, I have all the time in the world. I think I will be the queen of the kingdom while Molly does the guarding of the kingdom....well today anyway.

...I promised myself I would learn to live more in the moment this summer and the moment today was all about chillin, and that I did with my faithful companion watching me from across the yard. Don't want to be breaking my own promises. That just wouldn't be right...
