Ugly but on the way up!

I have kept checking and today spotted this larva on a stem. It has climbed up to shed it's skin. Sorry about all the little black bugs, I cropped as many off as I could. Hopefully the wasps are clearing many of them up. (Hope so as I see very little to recommend wasps!)
There seem to be fewer dragonfly nymphs this year so I might have to wait to capture the next stage. Did spot another tiny frog though and the newts are back - hurray!
Off to an Oxfam event this evening in Thirsk Town Hall, (yes, there is one in Thirsk!) 'Champagne and Shopping'. Mike's serving the drinks and I am promoting the Gift aid scheme. It adds 22p in the £ to every item sold and doesn't cost the donor any thing, there, promotion over!
