Detailing

I spotted this detailing on one of the beam/column interfaces at York Station. The level of detail and craftsmanship of items like this always amazes me.

You'd never see someone making this much effort these days and even if it was included in a new building, it would no doubt be removed by a bean counter somewhere before it was even constructed.
