Horse fly

Ok....its the Summer Solstice.
I was all excited thinking I could take a lovely picture of the light night at around one minute to midnight. Or a lovely dawn.

Well its grey and miserable here. We usually get very little in the way of dark at this time of year, but its just not the same to take a photograph when the sky is just cloud.

So....as I like my close-up and I like my insects...here's a horse fly.

I know, I know its a FLY but look at it. Properly. Isnt it amazing??
