The biggest event on the Embassy calendar and this year's Queen's Birthday Party was held at the Embassy for the first time, rather than the Ambassador's Residence. It was all very nice and very relaxed - no mozzies to mention (they were horrific last year), perfect weather, plentiful Pimms and made all the more enjoyable with certain members of the guest-list.
