Torrey's Peak

Named for the great American Botanist John Torrey, it spots a fresh coating of snow to freshen up what remains from the record braking winter snowfall. It is 14,267 feet high

Spent a great day with the Horticulture interns in Eagle County counting a sensative Penstemon species with the DBG research departmentand visting the always impressive Betty Ford Alpine Gardens.
