At 49 degrees north it's not quite Shetland, Iceland or Nordkapp but it'll do for me.

This time last year we were on our first night of camping across America. And our first experience of American thunder and lightening. Glad to be staying in a proper bed tonight.

It's the first day of summer according to Canadian's and I hope it is a sign of things to come, 24 degrees and sunshine today.

Today's photo is one I have taken before, but I thought it was apt for today. While the sun sets at 9.21pm, it actually disappears behind Bowen Island some 20 minutes before that.
