Lichen Gate

This gate is a favourite of mine. I just love its lichen cover.

When I finished work tonight I dashed up the Tutaki Valley to the Blackwater River again to take its photo. It had to be a dash because I had an appointment and I was a bit pushed for time. I pulled up, clicked twice, then headed back into the village, and only just made it in time. Though I admit that I hate being late for anything so 'only just' to me is really '5 minutes to spare'.

Just as well I knew exactly what photo I wanted to take today.
