Party Whale

OK this is a crap image which has been cropped to death, but I just HAD to post it and share the experience. This whale is obviously one of the party whales which were seen off Sydney at the weekend while the straight laced whales were going by for us on the whale watching cruise in Newcastle. He breached at least 20 times while I was watching and I snapped it at least a dozen times until I thought oh what the hell and left. The trouble was he was just a bit too far out (hence the cropping). I feel so privileged to be able to see these whales go by this time of year.
