The Hobbit

Although I am constantly at the receiving end of hobbit jokes (I'm tiny) I have never attempted to read anything by Tolkein before. I finally decided to bite the bullet and read The Hobbit, thus far I am four chapters in and finding it enjoyable but not an exceptional read.
