The Five Minute Theatre

Our friends at the National Theatre of Scotland have been steaming live theatre over the web for the last 24 hours. The Five Minute Theatre project was a bold and innovative participation project where anyone in the world could present a piece of live theatre through the good offices of the NTS.

Of course, we had to get in on the act, so for most of the afternoon we were dipping in and out of a whole range of shows, from monologues, romps in a launderette, re-enactment's of the story of St Andrews to full blown shows, but all no more than five minutes.

Although it's just closed you'll be able to see the shows again on the site playback.

I was really great to see technology being used in such a generous and creative way.

Well done those folk - makes you feel sort of proud.
